Bo Han
Bo Han is an artist based in the town of Arlington in the Greater Boston area. As an immigrant, Bo has been inspired by the people, art, and culture of the various places she has lived, including Taiyuan, China; Raleigh and Chapel Hill, NC; New York City; Princeton, NJ; Philadelphia, PA (in the Fishtown neighborhood); and, of course, Boston, MA. Bo started her artistic career focusing on Greco-Roman art and is an award-winning artist recognized by the National Junior Classical League. Her recent paintings have been inspired by Buddhist themes. She has also worked on smaller scale public murals focused on social justice issues. Bo believes that new ideas and ways of seeing can transform the world for the better. She endeavors to represent greater diversity through her art. Her passion for diversity and inclusion stems from her personal experience as a Chinese immigrant and a member of the LGBTQ+ community.
